Hackman Researcher

The Larry J. Hackman Research Residency Program supports advanced study and research in New York's history, government, and public policy at the State Archives. An emphasis on public distribution of the research results enhances general knowledge of the rich and diverse documentary resources held at the State Archives. The program honors Larry J. Hackman, the New York State Archivist who managed the dramatic development of the State Archives between 1981 and 1995.
