Petition of Saran Robins, a "free born Indian woman", to Governor Robert Hunter, ca. 1711. Robins asked for the governor's protection and legal assistance, as she had been threatened with slavery if she did not convert to Christianity.

Petition of Hezekiah Baldwin, Martin Beebe and David Pratt, in behalf of the inhabitants of New Canaan, New Concord, Spencer Town and New Britton, praying that a decision in the controversies relating to lands settled and improved by them, be postponed until the King's pleasure is known, and that in case his majesty shall direct said controversies to be decided here, that a day be appointed for the same, and due notice thereof given to the petitioners. September 29, 1772.
