British declaration of war against Spain. Though remaining neutral for the majority of the Seven Years’ War, Spain entered the conflict in its final year on the side of the French, opening up new fronts in Iberia, Nicaragua, Uruguay, Cuba, and the Philippines, January 2, 1762.
