A view of Mount Marcy from Mount Skylight. Snow and coniferous trees can be seen up the slope of the mountain. Many of the trees in the front of the picture are broke and dead, possibly due to the climate or logging. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation used this photograph to view the landscapes of the state's forests.
